Daimler Buses Solutions GmbH supports bus operators in the transition to electric and hydrogen-powered buses as well as in the setup and optimization of infrastructure in bus depots. This also includes modern software solutions for controlling and monitoring bus operations and charging infrastructure. To further strengthen our growth in the French market, we are looking for a Sales Manager France – Charging & Depot Management Software (m/f/d) to join us on a permanent basis as soon as possible.
The clear focus of this role is the French market. At the same time, you will occasionally support sales activities in other European markets and work closely with our international teams.
You will work remotely from Germany and travel regularly to customers in France as well as occasionally to other European countries and Mannheim.
Your Responsibilities:
- You actively contribute to the expansion of our e-bus software business in the French market and build long-term relationships with bus operators, partners and other relevant market stakeholders.
- You actively present our e-bus software solutions to customers at meetings, trade fairs and events in France and support sales projects from the initial contact through to contract signing.
- You analyze the French market, identify new business opportunities and develop suitable sales strategies for further market expansion.
- You analyze relevant tenders, assess their potential and develop tailored and competitive proposals accordingly. In doing so, you work closely with Product Management and Engineering to optimally integrate technical requirements, commercial conditions and customer needs into the proposal process.
- You independently identify new sales leads, for example through our CRM system or trade fair contacts, and qualify them in a targeted manner. Through structured follow-up activities, you consistently work towards closing deals.
- You support Product Management with valuable market and customer insights from France and help ensure that our software solutions remain market-ready. Through your feedback, you identify improvement potential and contribute to the further development of our product portfolio.
- You conduct regular business reviews with customers and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- In addition, you support selected projects and sales activities in other European markets.
