As an Intern (m/f/d) in the Public Charging & Operations team, you will support us in the development, economic evaluation, and operational implementation of projects related to public charging infrastructure.

You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and project management while contributing to the sustainable mobility of tomorrow.

Depending on the project phase and your areas of interest, you may be involved in the following activities:
  • Supporting profitability analyses, business cases, and site evaluations for charging infrastructure projects.
  • Analyzing market, utilization, and revenue potential and deriving recommendations for action.
  • Assisting in the structuring and coordination of projects, including collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Supporting the development and application of tools for data analysis and decision-making.
  • Preparing, structuring, and presenting project results (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Assisting in the coordination of stakeholders and project processes.
  • Conducting data analyses, research, and ad hoc evaluations.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives and related topics (e.g. partnerships and business models).
  • Maintaining and further developing a digital lead and project management tool.

Your profile

  • You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field of study.
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial practical experience through internships, working student positions, or university projects, for example in project management, business development, consulting, infrastructure, or mobility.
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You work in a structured, analytical, and independent manner and have a good understanding of business-related topics.
  • You enjoy presenting complex topics in a clear and understandable way and are willing to take on responsibility.
  • You are interested in electromobility and new business models.
  • You have very good German and English language skills.
  • You are willing to work in a hybrid setup, primarily remotely with occasional visits to Mannheim.
